The Ametek Model 1726, Dual Function Digital Tachometer is a dual function instrument providing contact and non-contact measurement of rotational and linear motions. With an accuracy of 0.25 of indicating reading 1 LSD, the 1726 is ideal for use in production, engineering, inspection, quality control and maintenance.

The Model 1726 comes complete with a convex tip, concave tip, 10 cm linear measuring wheel and carrying case. The power supply is a NEDA type 1604, 9 volt transistor battery, and the most significant display character flashes to indicate need for replacement.
